The Mysterious Bok Choy

I came across a recipe on vegweb that caught my eye. It calls for a “Bok Choy” vegetable and it says that it is chinese of origin. For me Bok Choy sounds like a person’s name and I was curious what it is.
On my first search, a bunch of words was put on my face and confused me still what is a Bok Choy.
Then I searched the images.
What I saw made me laugh. Bok Choy is none other than what we call “PECHAY” which is a very common vegetable here as well. Haha!
